He started his career in commercial lending and later went on to establish his own mortgage broking business, which he continues to operate today.
He holds qualifications in Economics, Finance and Investment, Mortgage Broking, Marketing and Communications and is an Accredited Mortgage Consultant with the Mortgage and Finance Industry Association of Australia.
Greg has authored a number of books and courses on business and finance, including Home Loan Secrets, The 17 Sins of Cashflow Management, and The Property Investors Mini-Bootcamp.

How long does it take to secure a property?
We help most clients secure their property within about 60 days from starting.
Do I need pre-approval first?
No — we will arrange this for you as part of our service.
What if I already have a pre-approval?
That’s great. We will review it to ensure your loan structure is set up to support your plan properly. If any changes are needed, we’ll outline exactly what to take back to your lender or broker.
Is the fee refundable?
Yes — if after reviewing your information we identify that you are not in a financial position to invest right now, we will arrange a refund less any out of pocket expenses (like merchant or credit report fees).
What if I change my mind at a later point?
Once we have confirmed you are in a position to invest we immediately commence developing your plan and start investigating potential investment options so we are unable to provide a refund after this point.
What if I don’t like your recommendations?
Based on our experience and our process we believe the likelihood of this is very low. We take the time to develop a strategy first and step through this with you before putting any investment recommendations forward. Adopting this approach ensures we are all on the same page and that any recommendations put forward fit with your agreed plan. The fact that many of our clients return for future investments speaks to the effectiveness of this process.
Is the fee tax-deductible?
No — as the fee relates to property acquisition costs we do not believe it can be claimed as an investment expense. We do however believe the fee should be able to be included as part of your cost base for capital gains tax purposes. We recommend checking with your accountant before making any claims.
What if I just want to use the Property Search service?
If you're an experienced investor and already have a clear strategy and your finance sorted, that’s totally fine. We’re happy to jump straight into the search — we just need a solid understanding of your plans and your budget.
As we’ve deliberately kept our fee structure simple and easy to understand, the fee is still $1,500 + GST — whether you need help with strategy and finance, or you're just after property search.
We’ve also found that even when clients think their strategy and finance are sorted, a fresh pair of eyes often picks up things that may have been overlooked. Sometimes that one insight can make all the difference.
